Wrist and Hand
Physical therapy for wrist and hand injuries focuses on reducing pain, restoring movement, and building strength. Treatments often include stretching exercises to improve flexibility, strengthening exercises for muscle support, and manual therapy to mobilize stiff joints. Therapists may also use ultrasound, heat, or ice for pain relief and swelling reduction. Custom splints may be provided to stabilize the wrist and hand, and patients are taught exercises to safely continue improving mobility at home.
